Dear Community Members of The Great Legalisation Movement – India,

As you all know, since 2014, and for the past 11 years, GLM has been relentlessly working towards the liberation and legalisation of the Cannabis plant in India.

Throughout this entire journey, the organisation has never raised a single rupee in donations from the community. All efforts have been self-funded. Over the last decade, GLM has spent more than ₹50 lakhs towards building this movement — creating and nurturing a strong community, conducting research, developing educational materials, travelling across the nation, filing a petition in the Delhi High Court, producing our independent web series “The Gaanja Situation”, hosting our website, and authoring multiple books in different Indian languages to ensure widespread education and awareness.

Today, we stand at a crucial turning point.

To take this movement forward and to accelerate the legalisation process, it has become a dire necessity to raise funds. Building the right team and infrastructure is the only way to sustain and scale this effort effectively.

For the first time ever, GLM has officially created a bank account and is opening up formal membership for our community supporters.

We humbly request our followers, believers, and loyal supporters to step forward and support GLM in its neediest hour.

Your contribution will directly help us in:
- Establishing a central headquarters for the community
- Hiring a dedicated team to compile and organise years of research
- Engaging more advocates and covering legal expenses
- Creating impactful educational and social media content
- Producing Season 2 of The Gaanja Situation
- Strengthening community outreach and engagement
- Working towards medical dispensaries across the nation
- Ensuring the complete liberation of the plant, the way we all envision

We are calling upon you to help restart this halted ship and propel it forward so that together, we can free the plant by 2026.
