Collaboration with Reforming India Organisation
GLM was chosen by Reforming India Organisation as its first reform for 2020 which aimed at collaborating and developing 8 projects in order to speed up the education across the nation and help liberate the sacred plant.

Writ Petition at Delhi High Court
After 10 years of cannabis research, 5 years of medical research, 9 months of legal research, GLM stepped into the High Court of Delhi to challenge the prohibition of cannabis that is violating many fundamental rights of the Indian citizens.

Letter to CM of Karnataka, Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy
GLM wrote an analytical letter urging the Chief Minister of Karnataka to not waste public funds of INR 52,000 crores (equivalent to US $ 8 billion) in his exercise to waive the farmers loans as a political stunt; but instead free the cannabis plant in Karnataka which can help farmers to become financially stable forever.

Documentary Web Series: The Gaanja Situation
GLM launched a documentary web series aimed at educating through exploring the various aspects of cannabis prohibition in India. The documentary featured voices of patients, doctors, general public, himalayan baabas, lawyers etc. As of 2020, the series has launched 7 episodes.

Nationwide Meet #2 (16 Cities)
GLM organised its second nation-wide public meet across 16 cities of India to spread awareness and bring discussions about cannabis and it’s many applications into the main stream debates.

Letter to Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi
After multiple failed attempts at reaching out to the state governments and healthcare setups, GLM finally wrote an open letter to the PMO describing in detail the urgent requirement of a change in the legal status of the cannabis plant across the country.

Nationwide Meet #1 (8 Cities)
GLM organised a nation-wide public meet across 8 major cities of India. Supporters gathered up near the government centres and voiced their opinions and messages about the prohibition and a need for legalisation of a sacred plant.

Setting up the Medical and Industrial Research Institutes
GLM setup two research institutes fully dedicated towards industrial hemp bio-product design and medical cannabis applications for various diseases. And the process for licencing was initiated in Karnataka.

Voices of India
In 2016, GLM asked its followers to standup against this injustice and share their voices, opinions and thoughts about this prohibition by writing it down on a piece of paper. Thousands of community members showed their support and shared their thoughts on the matter.

Study on National Healthcare Crisis
The organisation counselled thousands of cancer victims after they were left helpless from the current healthcare setup and in many cases severely poisoned from synthetic medications.

Rick Simpson’s Conference in Bengaluru
GLM organised the first cannabis conference in the country since its prohibition in 1985 sharing the stage with the father of cannabis healing, Mr. Rick Simpson.

Breaking Taboo at TEDx Bengaluru
GLM’s story began with successfully reducing an advanced cancer tumour of a stomach cancer patient. Viki Vaurora, the founder of GLM shared his journey of curing cancer using cannabis at TEDx Bangalore.

Discovering a Cure for Cancer
Responding to the needs of a dying cancer patient, Viki Vaurora extracted a special formulation of cannabis oil to help heal her pain and validate the learnings of the healing powers of cannabis. The patient not only recovered from the symptoms of the disease but also lost her tumour within just 12 weeks.
